The Saginaw County Road Commission is sponsoring a coloring contest for the elementary school-aged children of Saginaw County. The contest involves three age groups: Pre-Kindergarten – Kindergarten, 1st – 2nd Grades & 3rd – 5th Grades. The pictures for each of the categories can be found below. The deadline for pictures to be returned to the Road Commission is Friday, March 4, 2016. Please send pictures to the Saginaw County Road Commission, Attn: Jennifer Brieske, 3020 Sheridan Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48601.
We encourage the schools to participate. The classrooms of the first place winners in each category will be presented a $100 gift certificate, donated by Wirt Stone Docks, for the purchase of classroom supplies. The classrooms of the second place winners in each category will be presented with a $50 gift certificate, donated by Wirt Stone Docks, for the purchase of classroom supplies. Each winning student will be invited to attend a Board Meeting where they will be presented with a certificate and a street sign with their name on it. The winning pictures from each category will be posted on our website for display.
